What you will learn
Our Tuscany Candle Making Workshops are relaxed, hands-on experiences designed for beginners and fragrance lovers alike. Over approximately four hours, you will learn the fundamentals of container candle making, including the different types of wax used in candle production, the role of fragrance oils and essential oils, wick selection, and the basic tools and techniques required to create a beautiful scented candle.
After a short introduction and demonstrations, you will create your own luxury scented candle using a premium plant-based wax blend and carefully selected fragrance oils.
What’s included?
In addition to course notes and practical guidance, you will create and take home a beautiful 275g Luci di Lucca scented candle (valued at €65).
Workshops are limited to small groups of 2–4 participants, ensuring a relaxed and personal atmosphere. While the candles cool and set, guests are invited to enjoy a guided walk through the historic gardens of Villa Grabau, followed by prosecco and light refreshments.
Where are the Worskhops held?
The workshops take place in the Luci di Lucca laboratory, located within the grounds of the historic Villa Grabau estate in Lucca, Tuscany.
Knowledge Required:
No prior experience is necessary. This workshop is designed specifically for beginners.
What to bring:
All materials and candle-making equipment are provided. We recommend bringing a notebook and pen if you would like to take additional notes.
